Landmarks of London

Mapping London, a website I frequently visit, has a post showing the Thames and the spaces beside it along its riverside frontage. The featured map is at http://mappinglondon.co.uk/2017/landmarks-of-london/. The new building landmarks impress, the Shard, the Gherkin, the Cheesegrater.
Would it be too much to ask for some equally outstanding architecture for new landmark buildings in Ottawa, like the new main library, not the decorated conjoined boxes and piles of concrete that have been favoured.

Brilliant John. Sniffing around I was able to locate and print out a detailed map of where my grandfather's brother ran a pub on Fleet Street during WWII, in a 1651 woodcut map of London!!! And heavens, the WWII bomb damage maps of London I last saw at the London Metropolitan Archive in 2012 on its walls! Cheers, BT
